Mobile Shopping List | Household Management

The old handwritten shopping list is a thing of the past for us. We organize our shopping with our smartphones and have tested several shopping list apps.

For example, for a segment on Volle Kanne on ZDF.

Here, I would like to introduce you to our favorite – Bring!

The app can be used very well in the free version with small ads. It has a clear pre-made selection (e.g., apples, bread, cheese). However, you can also enter your own products and attach a picture.

By long-pressing on the respective image, for example, of the apples, you can add further details about the required product, such as a quantity specification.
You can also attach your own photo to the product – very useful for your partner so they can find the right shower gel.

You can save your own recipes with the respective ingredients. So if you pass by a pumpkin in the supermarket and suddenly crave pumpkin soup, you can load the necessary ingredients into the shopping list with one click.

My husband and I have this app on our smartphones and are linked together. So if I enter something and he goes shopping spontaneously, he is always up to date on what is still missing in the household.

You can send small pre-made messages as reminders to your linked partner:

• I'm going shopping! Last chance for adjustments
• List changed. Please take a look
• Shopping done. You can relax

There is also the option to create multiple shopping lists, e.g., for home, for the office, or errands for vacation.

We have been organizing ourselves with “Bring!” since 2013 and are still excited about it.
